Debra Nossaman, DVM, FAVD, DAVDC

Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College

Dr. Debra Nossaman is a board-certified veterinary dentistTM, a veterinary dental specialist, and a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College, a Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry and co-founder of Dallas Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery, Inc. She opened her first hospital in the Phoenix, AZ area in 1987. A love for animals and a degree in Biology led Dr. Nossaman to a very fulfilling career in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Nossaman is married to Tony Nossaman. Tony is her business partner and Chief of Business Operations at Dallas Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery. Dr. Nossaman is also the proud parent of two adult children, Colin and Erin, and five grandchildren, Carson, Dayton, Fallon, Tia, and Hazel. Their home is filled with pets: two dogs, Riley and CeCe; four cats, Larry, Louie, Pounce DeLeon, and Tater; and two horses named Goya and Dino. Dressage, running (having completed several marathons), and gardening are among her many hobbies.

William Gengler, DVM, DAVDC

Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College

Dr. Bill Gengler is a board-certified veterinary dentistTM, and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and his Master of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from the University of Missouri - Columbia. He is a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College and has 26 years of experience in general small animal practice, and 20+ years of experience in dental specialty practice.

Dr. Gengler founded the Animal Hospital of Verona in Verona, WI in 1978 which grew into a four-doctor, AAHA-certified hospital. After leaving general practice, he held a dual appointment as Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs/Director of the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine, and as the Section Head of Dentistry and Oral Surgery in the Department of Surgical Sciences.

Dr. Gengler is a Past President of the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC), the 2003 recipient of the Wisconsin VMA Veterinarian of the Year award, the 2006 recipient of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Outstanding Alumnus award, the 2009 recipient of the Hill's Excellence in Dental Research and Education award, and the 2015 University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine Alumnus of the Year award. Dr. Gengler has written many publications throughout his many years in veterinary dentistry. He has made enormous contributions to the current high standard of care given by today’s veterinary dental specialists, along with the general practitioners who have trained under him.

Dr. Gengler has a son, three daughters, and nine grandchildren. He shares his home with his constant companion, Lolly, an incredibly sweet little rescue dog.

Katy Levitt, DVM, Resident

Practice limited to dentistry

Dr. Katy Levitt is pursuing a residency in veterinary dentistry.  Prior to her residency, she was an owner and veterinarian at a private practice in Dallas for several years.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance and International Studies from Emory University in Atlanta before going to Louisiana State University to obtain her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Levitt completed two externships with Dr. Nossaman while she was in veterinary school, which helped her realize her passion for veterinary dentistry.

Away from the office, Dr. Levitt loves playing the piano, running, and traveling.  At home, Dr. Levitt and her husband live with their two young daughters, two dogs (Kaiser and Bonaparte), and a citron-crested Cockatoo named Tumbleweed.

Hollie Hibbard, LVT

Lead Technician

Hollie is a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) and has worked in the veterinary field for over 15 years. She is well-rounded in her skills, having worked in general practice, cat-only practice, and emergency medicine. She has been working with the Dallas Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery (DVDOS) organization for years and sets high standards for her team. In her free time, Hollie trains Spaten, a working line German Shepherd who excels at Dock Diving, Barn Hunt, and Rally. She lives with her husband, Chris, and three rescue kitties named Lottie, Greaseman, and Chumley.

Tracie Henchy, LVT

Tracie has spent 20+ years working as an LVT, with the majority of her experience coming from Tufts University and Texas A&M, as well as emergency medicine. Her training, experience, and passion for anesthesia make her a welcome and vital member of the DVDOS team! When she is not working, Tracie enjoys many outdoor activities with her four-legged kids, Abby and Cooper, and watching a good college football game together with them on her sofa.

Shennae Redd

Shennae is one of our skilled dental technicians, has come to us from Atlanta Georgia.  Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, she has always had a passion for helping animals.  She started her veterinary career at 14 years old and has been a veterinary technician for 23 years.  She has excelled as a technician in general practice, emergency medicine, and orthopedics.  She always aspires to learn as much as she can every day and give the best of herself to all patients in her care.  She is currently enrolled at Penn Foster College to obtain her LVT and further her career in veterinary dentistry.  When Shennae isn't working, she enjoys biking, hiking, fishing and traveling as much as her schedule will allow.  She is the proud mom of a beta fish named "Puppy".

Whitney McBrayer

Whitney has been in the veterinary field for 14 years.  She started as a kennel technician and worked her way up to a compassionate, experienced veterinary technician.  She has worked most of her time in general veterinary practice but has also had experience in emergency medicine.  She loves challenges and embraces the chance to learn new things.  She has a special interest in dentistry and anesthetic patient monitoring and has become a valuable member of the DVDOS team.   In her spare time, she loves to go hiking with her dog Domino.  She loves fostering injured/abandoned animals with her husband Thomas.  When she’s home relaxing, she is joined by her 6 cats:  Nowitzki, Dirk, Babs, Sterling, Ebba, Dork.

Tony Nossaman

Chief of Business Operations

Tony is one of the founding partners in Dallas Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery with his wife, Dr. Debra Nossaman. He attended Arizona State University and his studies included Business, Quality Assurance, and Information Technology. He comes to the field of veterinary practice management after working for many years in the government and at General Dynamics as a Field Engineer in the Decision Systems Division.

In order to support our team, Tony attends many hours of continuing education each year in practice management, as well as IT. He is committed to applying the necessary tools that allow the doctors and staff to utilize cutting-edge technology while providing state-of-the-art health care for your furry friends.

Tony enjoys anything that has to do with flying airplanes or gliders; he also enjoys bowling, the outdoors, and visiting museums with his wife, Dr. Nossaman. They share a home with two dogs, CeCe and Riley; four cats, Louie, Larry, Pounce DeLeon, and Tater, and two horses, Goya and Dino.

Jennifer Miller

Office Manager

Jennifer has been in the veterinary industry for 20 years. Her love of animals started young and is what led her into veterinary medicine.  She has been fortunate to work with some wonderful veterinary professionals through the years and has gained invaluable experience and knowledge in the workings of a veterinary office.  It is her goal to ensure our clients are informed and educated while receiving the utmost customer service.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, entertaining, horseback riding, and traveling with her husband Nathan and their friends.  Always looking for the next adventure, she loves to hear about her client’s favorite places.  Along with Nathan, she shares her home with two spoiled kitties, Cruiser and Tess.

Michelle has worked in the veterinary industry for about seven years. Her quiet confidence helps make clients feel at ease when entrusting us with their precious pets. She lives with her husband Robert and their two children, Madison and Matthew. Her furry kids are Sully, a Goldendoodle, and Simon the cat. In her free time, Michelle enjoys being with her family, enjoying their pool, watching movies, and taking walks with Sully.

Traci King

Customer Care Specialist

Traci has worked in the veterinary industry for the past 10 years in general practice and emergency medicine. For the last five years, she has been a valued member of DVDOS, helping us during our phenomenal period of growth and our move to the new hospital in Grapevine. Traci has an Associate's degree in Computer Technology and spent six years in hospitality at the Four Seasons Resort. She lives with her "best dog ever" named Sam and two energetic rescue cats, Cricket and Scout. She and Sam enjoy all things Texas!
